Dial Help presented the first Big Truck Day in the Keweenaw on Saturday, July 25, 2009, as a fundraiser. The event was held in the parking lot for C-L-K schools in Calumet. Trucks and other equipment from a number of supporting businesses and organizations all gathered together so future drivers and operators could explore them inside and out. In addtion to the trucks and equipment displays, activities such as a bake sale and frequent Cake Walks for the young people were held throughout the day. Hot dogs and brats were sold, with the operators turning over all profits to benefit Dial Help.
