Winter Carnival at Michigan Tech is one of the longer running winter carnivals in the nation. One of the specialties at Michigan Tech is massive, intricately detailed, snow statues. This year's theme was Cartoon Art for the Young at Heart. The Delta Sigs won first place honors this year in the major statues competition. You'll see, though, that there were many other worthy entries. In addition to the major statues, there are also a number of One-Nighters, constructed beginning at the end of the day, the Wednesday evening before judging.

The free downloads are restricted in their file size, that's why the displayed images are only in the Medium size. Most images in this series are at a 2 or 3 megapixel resolution.
