From late July to mid August, 2006, the Michigan Tech Concert Choir toured China. The Choir performed in Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Nanjing and Shanghai. The concert bill was a wonderful mix of American music, intended to be one more nail in the bridge of friendship between our two cultures.
Here is a selection of pictures from the tour, showing a few of the highlights of the sights we saw, along with our various concert venues and views of the group hard at work -- singing and touring.
You may view these pictures as a slide show by clicking the button, above right. These images may be downloaded for you personal use. High quality prints can be ordered through this website as well. We've added $.01 to the price of each print for tracking purposes.

There is now a formal shot of the Choir in Nanjing, with indentifying text, at the end of this set of pictures.
The "China Sights" gallery under the "Travel" category expands on the key sights and experiences of our tour. Also available in the "Travel" catgeory is an extensive selection of photos taken by Camus Leung, the AFCEA representative who accompanied our tour. Still to come in that category will be a selection of the pictures Sara took.
