The 2007 Great Bear Chase cross country ski race was held at the Swedetown Trails near Calumet, Mich. on Sunday, March 11. The pictures in this gallery feature the pre-race registration; CLK Rotary's Saturday night spaghetti supper; Sunday morning race preps in historic downtown Calumet; the three starts, as seen from near the entrance road to the Swedetown Chalet; extensive coverage at the finish area; and finally the closing lunch at the high school.
The pictures are posted in chronological order. Turns out that while I got my own clocks set right, my camera clock was overlooked, so Sunday's photo times are an hour off (slow). If you know what time you finished, you should be able to narrow down your search. I got most racers, but not all -- sorry if I missed you!

If you stay with the basic style, note that you can access any individual page by pausing over the page numbers until the entire range of pages comes up.

Note that 20% of the proceeds from print and product sales through this site will be given to the Copper Island Cross Country Ski Club.
