The Keweenaw community has organized the Talvi Tohinat (a "winter scramble") ski race as a part of the greater Heikinpaiva celebration. The race was held at the Michigan Tech trails on Saturday, January 20. It featured a 5K and 10K classic race, a kids' race and a ski-joring with dogs event.

Pictures in this gallery are being offered for sale as an additional fund raising benefit for the Keweenaw Land Trust, the beneficiary of the event. Bill Fink Communications, LLC will donate 20% of the proceeds from print and download sales to the KLT.
