1776, June 2009, Candids : This is a set of pictures taken during the dress rehearsal for "1776, The Musical," presented at the Calumet Theatre on June 26 and 28, 2009, by KGB Productions, with Donna Armistead as director.

These candid shots were taken from various locations in the house, and generally follow the action. There are gaps, of course, whenever my own character, Ceasar Rodney, had to be on stage. See the gallery featuring "interval" photos if you really want a glimpse of the photog. The group photos, taken just before the Sunday performance, are at the end of this gallery.

There is a lot of action going on during the play. Rather than attempt to share just the highlights, I have uploaded over 700 images. My rationale is that one or two actors may find a particular image important, so I want to make it available. The price of doing that, of course, is a lot of pictures to wade through. With a high speed connection, you can change the "Style" in the upper right to "all thumbs." That will bring small sized "thumbnails" of the entire set of pictures. You should be able to scroll down and find the scene that interests you. With a good cup of coffee, or perhaps something stouter, you can also watch the entire group as a slide show by selecting the "slideshow" button in the upper right.
